The Honda Grand Prix of St. Petersburg, takes place in April of each year. An Indy-style street course with high fences, tight turns and roaring race cars, the event is run on a 1.8-mile, 14-turn temporary street course that fronts St. Petersburg's Bay front and runs along Bayshore Drive.
This year's event will once again feature races from both the IndyCar Series and the American Le Mans Series (ALMS).
As Floridas fourth largest city, St. Petersburg in recent years has hosted the NCAA Mens Final Four, the 1996 Vice Presidential debates, welcomed the Devil Rays Baseball team into our citys Tropicana Field as their permanent home and shared in the job growth of the Tampa Bay region that has led the nation.
